About myedu.lk
myedu.lk is an online English learning platform for adults and young adults in Sri Lanka. It is for anyone who wants to learn English step by step — whether you are starting from the very beginning or coming back to English after a long break.
Why we built myedu.lk
Many learners understand more English than they feel confident using. Busy days make it hard to attend classes, and thick textbooks can feel overwhelming. We wanted a calm, structured way to learn in short sessions, on the phone you already have.
How we teach
- One clear goal per lesson. Every lesson tells you what you will be able to do at the end — for example, "introduce yourself using four complete sentences".
- Practice that checks your answers. Exercises give feedback straight away and explain why an answer is right.
- Small steps, in a sensible order. Courses are split into units and short lessons, so you always know what comes next.
- Everyday situations. Examples come from real life: greetings, shopping, directions, work and study.
- Help in your language, where it is useful. Some lessons include optional short explanations in Sinhala or Tamil.
Our promises
- We will not invent learner numbers, reviews or success stories. If we share what learners say, it will be their real words, used with their permission.
- We will be clear about what you get before you pay: the lessons, the access period and the price in rupees.
- A myedu.lk certificate of completion shows that you finished a course with us. We will never present it as an independent certification of your English level.
